HHmm, I think my problem is that I pretty much love all my cars, and as Rick can confirm, I have hopelessly too many of them...
But if I have try and single some out:
Over the past week I modified the guide of my RevMon Lola T70 (made up a brass extension & moved it about 20mm forward) and last night it ran a sub-8 second lap at Luf's: quite extraordinary for a RevMon I think.
Second one: box standard RevMon Greenwood Corvette front engine: what a delightful car! Prpbably the best value for money of all cars I have bought.
Second best value for money, no nonsense car: standard Fly Ford GT40. Other than body float & West Coast urethanes, no mods and it is one of the best handling car I have! Pure delight!
As a group of cars, my Fly Racing stable must be right up there. In order of preference: F40, Capri, BMW M1.
Once I got my Ninco ProRace Mosler sorted out it is also a ball to drive. Bit noisy and it took a lot of work, but very satisfying.
But single greatest car probably has to be my new blue NSR Ford GT Mk IV. This is the smoothest, quickest, quietest(?) out of the box car I have ever bought, and it looks great as well: NSR are at last creating realistic looking cars in addition to being blindingly fast.
With a list this long, I told you I have a problem...
