I recently came across two vintage slot cars and was wondering if anyone here would have information about them as I am not really knowledgeable about the older models and cannot seem to find anything other than re-makes or pictures of these cars.
COX Chaparral 2D - 1/24 Scale Sidewinder No.# 19000:998
- Kit it still in original box and has a fold out display with Jim Hall on it. Instructions say 1966 on them but I'm not really sure if that is the age or just the copyright date...
Monogram Ferrari 275P - 1/24 Scale - Tiger X200 Motor - SR-2408.698
- Kit is in original box and complete and has a fold out advertisement display of a cartoon looking kid on it.
I'm curious if these are original - if anyone knows when they were made exactly and how desirable they are compared to other racers.
Any info would be greatly appreciated. I will try to figure out how to add photos in case that would help
-Thanks again - Gregg

Hi Gregg, I'm not an expert, but I know enough about slot cars to tell you these kits can make you a rich man ! . I have seen some kits like these sold on Ebay over $250. Boxes looks really nice and the parts looks great. The box has been kept away from the sunlight, which does bring more value. Not everybody does run 1/24, but any slot car who does have a 1/24 track will highly consider these cars. Congratulation ! Geo
