Wood track conversion for slotcars 1. 1st remove magnut and place on fridge(will not be needed) 2. Check rear bearings for slop -if no slop -lightly oil bearings If slop -oil axle at bearings -then add superglue to side of bearing(were axle meets)- make shure to rotate axle for about a minute or two- bearings should feel no slop or minimal slop 3. Oil front axle - make shure that there is not much vertical(up/down)movement-as this will cause desloting (u can cut plastic sheet or tubing and superglue to the chassis) 4. I ussually add 7 grams of lead just in back of the front axle ( this will ussually keep the guide in the slot) -u can experiment with more or less- less is better for more speed 5. Some people will lightly file the outside of there chassis to cause "float" 6. Chassis screws- i ussually back them out 1/2 a turn- experiment with more -just remember to put tape over the screw holes after 7. We have found that Silicon tires work for us- just remember if u use these that the track must be free of dust and dirt( we use masking tape on the bottom of the tires to clean them.
ENJOY
